i have a million pictures i want to post from my san francisco trip, but i finally got around to scanning these photos i took with my canon sure shot on a not so recent day spent in downtown la.
we were hanging out one last time before my friend sergio moved out of his loft in the area :( i miss it already

who doesnt love a beaded dress??

I am dedicating this entire post to a dress i found this weekend at a local garage sale. (for a whopping $5 by the by)
the dress pulled me in like a tractor beam the second i spotted it.
Its nude silk and completely hand beaded from top to bottom.
This thing weighs a TON. Its really amazing. the colors, the way the light reflects off of the beading.
Its a shame i have no place in the world to wear it. I'll probably put it up in the shop. I just dont have the heart to take it off of my dress form. so pretty!

orange county fair!

this year was a quick trip.
we waited till the sun went down and made our way.
So freaking crowded! and it was a week night! last year i ended up getting stuck in traffic on the way there for 2 hours (instead of 20 minutes)! i was infuriated by the time we got there. wanted to leave california and never come back...but i got over it :) i will never leave you my love

i made it out after only 2 beers and bites from friends' fried concoctions.

including but not limited to:

bacon donut, fried tater wedges, soft serve, giant corn dog, a cheeseburger...

i love living here and getting to do this every year.

now who wants to take me to see weezer tonight???

my new favorite thing

recently i thrifted an (almost) perfect black leather motorcycle jacket.
it's BB Dakota and (almost) because it's not real leather :( and is missing some zippers& doodads that would make it more motorcylc-ly
i shot some pictures for the shop and the jacket made EVERY outfit look amazing

 

i love it.
